We were right it is probably an Activant Script. Command structure is as follows: cf [-b] [-c] [-d] [-f|-n] [-s] [-#] file [file...] Parameters -b background, no message to the screen. -c list of store(s) for A/P, G/L & Payroll. -d do not use default files. -f force creation of file(s) if it...- Toddjwood

Hi FlyingSnowman, I recognised these commands and Welcome to LIFO cd BASE mv LI LAFUxxyyyy cf -f LI I have been told by the LIFO ~expert~ at Activant that cf=create file -f =force or overwrite an existing file.
