yes, you can. You can choose to send general number with.
If i'm not mistaken just below where you fill in the caller display, ie name.

that looks to me like a layer 1 problem, ie cable or ports. you should be using cross cable. If you use a straight cable you probably need to turn on mdix

on the gig trunk interface you have "switchport trunk native vlan 520" is that correct as you have int vlan 1000 with an ip address.

Hi,
I've been trying to get this working on 3750's, but no luck so far. I want this enabled so that hosts won't be able to connect to rogue DHCP servers.
After enabling snooping globally and for the vlans the hosts don't get an ip address anymore. I've trusted the -trunk-ports towards the dhcp...
I don't think the 3700 modules are hot swappable, so removing and inserting a module might make your router crash.
Has the router taken the correct IOS after you started it up again (after the power down) and the correct config?

can you not setup a password on the console port, sure I've read this somewhere !"
yes you can and you definately should do this. However this will not prevent someone from doing a pw recovery. First you need to do for pw recovery is switch off the device and boot it up again

I am in the process of reviewing the .xml file."
Thats good, but of course make sure the background files are png and you have a tumbnail for the new one.
what version CM are you running?
CCNA, CCNP..partly ;)
if you try to change it from the phone, do you see the new background as an option or not?
From the phone, settings, user pref, background.

i just wonder how they do that anyway as I've always had to identify myself with passport. Officially Cisco even asks for two identification forms. They probably know someone as a test center, however when Cisco or MS find out its no longer a test center.

just an idea but are the dist 6509 also connected together? as the port on the access switch to one 6509 might be in blocking mode because of SPT.
Does traffic go through this port?

this could also be down to the config of the pc's. If they are using windows to manage their wireless setting, you probably want to check the settings. There is box where it says 'connect to strongest ap' or similar.
Can't tell you exactly where it it, but check on the network settings of the...
just make sure you've a clear SLA with your ISP in case the router goes down.
I heard one story of a hotel (in Germany) that had an ISP managed router onsite and they were being charged per transmitted byte (from isp to isp managed router onsite). I still wonder how this hotel could check this...
you will have to configure some routes, either static or use a routing protol (rip, igrp etc)
you can also setup different vlans in your buildings, but those have to be terminated onto a L3 device.

int fa0/0
duplex full | half
speed 10 | 100
or use a ? behind the speed and duplex commands to see your options.
if you 2600 has got Ethernet interfaces you can't set these
here a link with some basic commands:

I think you're pretty much correct in what you're saying. Vlan 1 is indeed use to CDP info etc even when you are not using it. You can't delete vlan 1 either.
Best practise is not to use vlan 1 at all because its already used for other things.
