Hi sleipnir214, I think I messed up in saying there is info about MySql in the phpinfo output. There isn't a block of info, like there is for php core, Apache, Apache environment, http headers... the only mention of mysql is near the top beside Configure Command, which I mentioned earlier... -

Hi sleipnir214, I just copied the info that was listed beside Configure Command on the phpinfo page. I think the quotes are just there as delimiters. Is this something I can change in the php.ini file and restart Apache, or would I need to reinstall php? Thanks again, tryangle :-) -

Hi sleipnir214, Yes, there is a section for MySql in the output of phpinfo()... but, I don't know if there were any errors pertaining to MySql when PHP was compiled. I don't think there were. Is there anything I can check, after the fact? Thanks for your response. tryangle :-) -

I checked phpinfo() and it lists this info beside Configure Command './configure' '--with-mysql=shared,/usr' '--with-xml' '--enable-track-vars' '--with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs' It appears to have been configured with MySql support. tia for any input on this, tryangle :-) -

Hi, I looked through the scripts and didn't see it, so I'm guessing that it's part of a library. I think this has something to do with the $PATH, but I'm not sure, because I'm not familiar with the MySql configuration. safe_mysqld --defaults-file=/etc/my.cnf is running. The my.cnf file is... -

How can I substitute for an Ad when it doesn't show?
Hi, You know when an ad (or any image for that matter) doesn't show, it leaves a blank box with a red x... Is there a way to 'test' to see if the image makes it on the page and if it doesn't, to substitute another image for it? Thanks in advance for your input on this... :-)- tryangle

2000server trying to die on me - Please Help!
I had to reinstall the the Win2k Server OS because of Nimda back in October of last year. I ended up with a lot of duplicate user directories under Documents and Settings.
