how long have you had your monitor? your monitor could be going bad. and you will need to replace it. your best bet is to try another monitor to see if that is your problem.

you can still recover your software with out going through one of those expensive agencys. use a program called bad copy. http://www.badcopy.com you also may need to setup your harddrive thats not working as the slave. ( because it wont boot ). good luck
