Resolved!
Smile 2.3.x works fine with Windows 7, it's Windows 7 and whether it sees the parallel port which is the issue!
It is important to use the Sentinal driver from the Smile website to install in order to upgrade the parallel port driver.
Smile should then see the dongle ok.

You were all correct. Add the superloop as above and then actually enter the phone using this TN range. You have to enter it rather than being able to search for it in the UCM window.

Thanks, Yes these are standard IP phones, 1140's or 1120's but also OCS UEXT's.
When searching for a free TN nothing shows in the list and it does state "Error Code: SCH0821
Error Message: System has no unused units.
Severity: Info."

Please could you let me know how to add more Virtual TN's to enable us to add more phones.
We have a CS1K on RLS 7.5. We use UCM - Element Manager to administer our IP Phones etc.
On RLS 5.5 we could add Virtual TN's by going in to the 'Hardware' Section of Telephony Manager 3.

During my experimentation for something else I disabled my own Exchange account by choosing 'Disable' after a right click in Exchange System Manager.
When I wanted to resurrect my account, I assumed (doh) that I could right click and choose 'New Mailbox' then find myself under 'Existing...

Does anyone know a fix for an 1140 which no longer comes up with anything on the display.
On boot it just lights up. You can use the keypad to reboot etc and it does appear to prompt for Node and TN with the flashing Red VM light.
All that happens on the screen however is it lights up blue...

Having issue with this software. I have installed it but am unable to double click the Call Forwarding Options button....Single or double clicking does nothing.
Result is each time a call comes in it is answered on the phone on Hands Free mode, not on the PC headset.

We got "488 Not Acceptable Here" but we got this on both a working trace...and a trace that had failed.
We also get "unrecognised sip header...
We have also had this 'Are you still there' message when someone has tried to log in to their voiemail in order to change their greeting.
It gives the message when she was entering her PIN number...
More development:
I can replicate the 'Are you still there?' message everytime with the following scenario:
Call in to my IP phone from say mobile and try to transfer the call to the Automated Attendant.
When prompted to say/spell the persons name I get the 'Are you still there?' message...
