Does anyone have any actual information about Symantec 9.x or SCS 2.0 that they can direct me to? I would be most interested in this since I've been pestering Symantec over this for sometime now.

I have the same issue using windows 2003 webedition connecting back to a SQL database over port 1433. The test works fine and I can using a account that has a blank password (yuck) However, any attempts after it has been configured fail.
Any ideas?

Per the above thread, I did use InstallShield to rip into the original MSI, that is how I found the FLAG (DisallowAdvertisedInstall) was set.
Did I attempt to create/recreate a new MSI using IntstallShield? No, that might open me up to a libel suit :}

If your using Group Policy, assign the package to Computer configuration. Make sure ender both User/Computer Administrative templates Windows installer, always install with elevated privileges is enabled. (check Force)
