I was actually only missing 1 line of code. I have it workign correctly now. I was running into some error problems so I used the set password command rather than the change passwrod command. I was receiving the same debug errors for both an invalid password and a incorrect existing password...
I am trying to cerate a VB program that will allow the user in AD to change their password. We are using Terminal Services and have disabled the ctrl-alt-del function. Basically I have some code from a VB Script I wrote that will get the user information from the system and use that information...
So, I should setup ISA on the front-end server. Should I also put it on its own domain and create a one-way trust? If I go this route will I need an additional server? In the past I've run ISA and other apps on the same machine.
Thanks,
Rick
Is ISA a necessary component for OWA 2003? The front-end server will be placed in our DMZ behind our PIX. I believe that we only need to open 4 ports on our PIX going to the OWA server, and that we will only lose statefull packet inspection by not using ISA. Is this a huge issue?
Thanks,
Rick
When setting up a front end server for OWA do I need an additional Exchange 2003 license, since I would not be creating a new information store?
Any good places to look for tips on setting this up? I've setup OWA in Exchange 5.5, but 2003 is a whole different animal and I want to make sure and...
We do not have Zenworks installed. We do already have another Citrix XP server running with no issues. That server is using default login type for Citrix.
When we change the login type on the presentation server to nds we get prompted for the nds credential, but it does not accept them.
We are running a presentation server along with Novell Client 4.9 SP2. When the remotes login and try to access an application they get a Novell login prompt? We need to get rid of this, and want to use the citrix login info. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Rick
Anyone else have any suggestions?
Last night I removed the server from the domain, then tried to rejoin it. Still getting nowhere. Is there a setting on the SBS that needs to be changed to allow other DCs to be added? I'm really grasping at straws here, I don't know what else to try.
I would...
I was thinking this might be a good proejct for me to get my feet wet in Access, maybe even SQL. I've never really had a project to tackle, so I never attempted it. I would probably create a new mde and just use the current data. Copy the current MDBs into a new file and start from there.
Rick
I am a Access/DB newbie.
Are there some good sites and books I should look into?
We have a MDE file that seems to look into 32 different MDBs to access data. Is there a way to combine all these into one MDB?
Rick
I found 32 MDB files in the same directory as the MDE. db1.mdb through db32.mdb. They all open to the same switchboard as our MDE files. Is this crazy or is this good database design?
Rick
I found out that a consulting company built this MDE for us years ago. There is a MDE for Access 97 and a MDE for Access 2000. I opened the MDE for 97 and was able to execute the query. Now, how do I create a new Access 2000 MDE from the 97 version??
Can you give me a quick course on mdb vs. mde
When you create a MDE does the MDB still exist?
If so, how do I tell what MDB its linked to?
Thanks for all your help...
The table is: Users
The Field is: Added Date
The data type of that field is: Date/Time
The default value of the field is: Now()
PS. I'm a newbie at this access stuff
