Was there ever a solution for this? I am new to being an admin on our Cobalt RaQ4 and I need to find the best way to back up the entire server in case I need to ever restore it (Disaster Recovery).
Or if anyone has a step-by-step Server Rebuild process they wouldn't mind passing along. This...
Wow! Awesome...thanks Jason! I should have done more research on their site...but the time I did spend look I couldn't find anything.
Thanks again!
Go Tech!
I am new to working with MS W2K Server...running IIS. I have been tasked to learn what it would take to set up a Development site and a Test site on one machine.
Example:
dev.intranet
test.intranet
My boss would like to have two separate sites set up for now until we can purchase another...
I have set up Windows 2000 Indexing Service to implement our Intranet Search Engine. I wrote the code in ASP...and it is working great expect it's a little flaky with a certain word:

@path_array = split(/\\/, $new_path);
pop(@path_array);
$path =...
Another thing...I can get the first part I am trying to delete (or take out) in another $ENV{VARIABLE}:
$cc_pn = $ENV{CLEARCASE_PN}; --> gives me the entire path:
***C:\Data\IBM\wsad\workspace\my_workspace_project\MCMNET\MCMNET\another directory\JSP\file_name.jsp
$cc_sn_pn =...
Oh, and that is not always going to be a static path!
C:\Data\IBM\wsad\workspace\my_workspace_project\ could change depending on the users preferences...so you I can't just "know" what to take out. Also, the rest may change depending on our Java development paths too...so none of...
Ok, here is what I am looking for:
I have an $ENV{VARIABLE} that looks like this:
C:\Data\IBM\wsad\workspace\my_workspace_project\MCMNET\MCMNET\another directory\JSP\file_name.jsp
***Take note that the file structure and their file names could have spaces.
Now, I have tried several times to...
