to add a little more detail to this. i am referring to a field that has a character menu attached to it. the character menu (drop down list) contains yes, no , or maybe as the selection. i added $menu$ to the field properties attributes so only items in the drop down can be selected. the only...- pcyde

how do i lock a drop down field to keep people from entereing text into that field? i want them to only be able to select from the preselected drop downs. thanks!- pcyde
