I found a way of getting the new driver installed. But I am still having a few problems with the sound. There are still faults, just different faults. My recomendation. NEVER BUY AN AUREAL VORTEX 8810!!! Especially when you're on a limited income.

I have having trouble with sound on my computer. My sound card is an Aureal Vortex 8810 Audio and I am using an Intel Celeron motherboard. Windows Update does not recommed any drivers for me to upgrade to. What happens is, when I go into a game the sound crackles and eventually does not work...

Cool, I don't have a CD-RW yet, but I do have a spare CD-ROM drive. I don't need any drivers for a CD-ROM do I?

I want to know if it is possible to have two ordinary CD ROM drives, so that I can listen to my music CD and play a game off a CD at the same time? If that doesn't work then would I be able to have two CD ROM drives so that I can stop having to swap CD's all the time?
