I have tried changing the settings but still have the problem. The problem is best highlighted when I use illustrator. As soon as I want to use my deskjet the document settings change and the printout is off centred. I am very puzzled!

I am hooked up to two printers at work. When I print say an A4 poster on our laserjet the work comes out fine. If I print it on my deskjet the work comes out off centred, by that I mean the margins at the top and bottom are uneven. I am using windows xp so was wondering if this might be causing...
I'm sorry, I did't explain myself very well. I am trying to display the date a file on my website was created. Now, I have the function to do this, but it displays both the date and time. Is there any way to display just the date the file was created. Thanks again.
I have a date and time in the format : 02/02/2004 11:35:01. I want to put this into a string and delete the time segment. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for your help. It looks like it is a postcript problem with my deskjet. The artboard is fine when I use the laser but when I shift over to my deskjet the artboard shrinks meaning I lose the bottom of my work when printed.
I have been printing an a4 poster to a laser printer with no problems whatsoever. However when I try to print the same poster with a hp deskjet 840c, the page settings change and the poster is printed incomplete.
Some help would be most appreciated.
