    PC shut-off problem ... Why ?

    I had this problem too for a while and it turned out to be the msblaster and welchia virus. Check the symantec site for the removal tools. It may not be this at all but worth a try.

    CDROM drawer won't stay closed

    You could try removing the cd rom drive, open it up and check that the drawer open/close button is not damaged or stuck in. Also try checking msconfig to make sure there are no programs running that could be interfering with it.

    Drivers forthis sound card are available from http://members.driverguide.com/index.php?action=dosearch&qm0=Cirrus+Logic+4610&qa5=19&sm=s&pg=2. Username is DRIVERS. Password is ALL. Found using a search for filters: sound cards and model: Cirrus Logic 4610. Hope this helps
