Quark 6: "can't find required volume..." when saving
Same problem here. Norton Antivirus was the culprit. I simply turned off the autoscan feature that makes Norton scan the desktop files and the problem dissappeared.- rgibbons

problem saving in Quark 6
Having the same problem on OSX2.8. I can only save if I save in 5.0 format. Seems to have something to do with the extra internal hard drive on my system. Quark has trouble keeping track of the temporary file.- rgibbons

How do I convert my custom frames from QX 3.1 to QX 6?
I just upgraded my QuarkXpress 3.1 on OS 9.2 to QuarkXpress 6.0 on OSX, but can't figure out how to get the custom frames I created with Frame Editor (3.1) into QX 6.0. If I use the old xpress preferences from 3.1 (where frames reside) in 6.0, it causes 6.0 to crash during a save. Any have any...- rgibbons
