    Have you installed all the updates to Word for OS X from the Microsoft website? I was having all kinds of problems with Word until I installed all the updates. Cleaned most of the glitches right up.

    If you have Adobe Acrobat Professional 6.0, you can use the "Reduce File Size" function (under the File menu). I haven't seen any loss of quality, and it reduces the file sizes quite dramatically.

    Spot color in XP 6.0 PDFs

    How does one get XP 6.0 to generate a PDF separated for spot color? I have tried generating a PostScript file for Distiller. The PS file generates and I can see that it is generating a plate for each page -- so far, so good -- but Distiller says there's a problem with the file and won't open it...
