Do you have all the keys codes for it. most likely if you want to use the credit card interface you will have to pay micros to activate it. send me your menu items and i can tell you how much you'll spend.
there actually no good site, but the 200 is a pain in the butt to program because it used hex codes. you need help tell me what you need i can probably get some info for you

There is a bit setting on the 8700 i believe its under system parameters or revenue center parameter under credit card where you can turn this off. its the same with the 3700 and 9700.

the best way to start is find out if the application that your using right now (ie. accounting or inventory) have an import or export functionality. start from there. now if you just want to process data to another computer, mot pos front end have an excel export for you to process data.
Basically, the system that you will choose depends on functionality that you want, like remote printing, liquor gun interface, back office reports, ease of menu programming, etc. if you give more info then it will be easier to recommend.
