we can't block the ports as the admin staff use outlook and OE. we just want to remove the icons from user profile so they cant use it on specific machines.

you can try exporting to netscape. try uninstalling OE6 (but i dont think this is possible, actually) look for the dbx outlook files and move them manually to the correct diestination. what has perhaps happened is that your OE is looking in the worng dir for all the files. is your address...

is the xp running ntfs or fat32? do they have the same workgroup? they should both be on the same FAT system

hi there, the users are set up as power users (we dont want to give any more rights) and the NAV keelps disabling auto protect. it will work for a bit then it stops. ??? i've even got the live update set to run as "owner". any ideas? thanks a lot!!!

try the latest and greatest client software from novell. there is an update to that one. Also, do you have the client for Microsoft installed as well? uninstall this if so but be sure to uninstall it before removing the novell client cause i've had problems with this. ca

maybe your email client is using text only messages and not html? :) ca

right click on the N on the taskbar and go to novell client properties or you can go to the Netware Login again and click the Advanced tab to set the context. :) carolyn anger

do you have admin rights? regular "users" cna't change anything. boot up in safe mode and delete remove any instance of the printer in the registry, then delete and reboot. give the printer a different name if you reinstall it. :)

ok, so windows XP has 2 users - Owner and User. does anyone know how to change the settings for "user?" i haven't found any way to do this, infact, i dont think it is possible. its not like win2k which has a bunch of options for defining users. i hate xp. thanks for your help. :)

windows xp has 2 users, owner and user. the settings for user are limited and you can't change them.

just install it anyways... this msg happens all the time. it should run fine regardless.
