Thanks for your response kjv1611. I had already returned the phone to the insurance company and wasn't ever able to recover all the data from it but I was able to get most of it back through a back up that I had done couple months prior and some more through friends a family members that I had...
My iPhone 5 got submerged in water. I put it rice for a few days to let it dry out in hopes I could get it to power back on at least long enough to copy my camera roll to my computer because I didn't already have it backed up. When I plugged the phone into the computer the battery light came on...
If your motherboard supports SATA then you can run a SATA drive but if it doesn't you need an IDE. Either way you should still have an IDE hookup on your board. SATA drives are supposed to have a faster response when accessing files on your hard drive.
I had the same issue a couple of months ago. I had total of 500 gig of hard drive space and was only using about 35 gigs at the time but it was showing that it was full. The problem I had was some type of virus. I tried to use several different scanners to remove the virus but had no luck. I...
Thanks for all of the replies. I tried severaly live cd's and trial versions. I started out with Fedora but I didn't fully understand the rpm and yum. Ubuntu was easier for me to use and I liked it ok. But since I have just migrated from Windows I found that Xandros was the easiest for me to...
Thanks for everyones help. I would like to get a few other opinions. I would like to find out which distribution would be the better one to use. Linspire, Xandros, Ubuntu, or Fedora Core.

localhost login I can type something in there but then it prompts for a password and I can't type anything in there. This is the first time I have ever tried to use Linux. During...
You said you tried all of the boot priorities. Have you tried to disable all of the boot devices except the dvd drive in the BIOS? Another thing is that unless the O.S. is an upgrade , then you will have to install it to a hard drive without a previous O.S. In other words if it isn't an upgrade...
Thanks for all of your replies. Instead of trying to use software to convert the dvd, I just ended up buying a dvd player that supported the Pal format. It only costed about $35 and it plays all of my Pal dvd's without a problem.
Again, thanks for everyones reply.
Is there any software that can convert a Pal dvd into a NTSC dvd ? I have tried DVD Santa and Blaze Media Pro but had no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
when you go to windows update, instead of doing the express install, do the custom. that is what I had to do before I could find it to download. after you do the search, to the left of the screen you will see where it shows review high priority updates, select optional updates, and selct...
if it supports the dual channel mode for your RAM. And you get another RAM stick, that is the exact same as the one you already have model number and everything. it should improve your speed by about 30 percent. But the RAM has to be identical for the dual channel mode will work.
