Thanks for the response. They are working fine with static IPs. And except these win98 pcs all others are working perfect with dhcp. Even these PCs also work fine sometimes. As I said I release and renew the IP to get the correct subnet. I did the recreation of scope also but in vein.
Can somebody help me on this. I am getting the same problem with my some of my win98 clients. If I release and renew manually it comes correctly. Server and clients both have recent updates.
I am still struggling with this. But I will give some more details. Symantec antivirus for gateways is installed on our server and configured for port 25. It receives all messages, scans and forwards to port 26. SMTP virtual server is configured for 26 port. So, on port 26 its not relaying...

I requested njabl.org to remove our IP from their list. With their automated system again they detected open relay and blocked it again. I dont nkow what to do.
Anybody pls help. We have e2k server on w2k with all updates and patches. This server is put under firewall in ISP's premises. Their responsibility ends there. They dont and cant provide any other support. Now the issue is our server is listed as open relay server in some sites like njabl.org...

I have an e2k on w2k server. Past two days, we are able to send the mails immediately but receiving the mails after 2,3 hrs. This is happening for internal domain also. If anybody sends mail to himself it comes instantly. For any other case it takes helluva time. Any ideas?
