    when i open a powerpoint presentation with 2003 (created with 95 i think) i can view all the slides, but, if i change the view so that i get multiple thumbnail views of all the slides the images disapear, i have tried saving the images deleting them from the view and then reloading the picture...

    yes, sorry i mean activation, i have never actually had to activate any office product more than once, is it just a case of running activation again, or do uninstalling office remove the details from microsoft's databases? thanks MattyG
