Veritas 10 is slower on local disk than remote jobs???

Veritas 10 is slower on local disk than remote jobs???
Does this make sense to anyone? I have all of my remote jobs running on a dedicated, 1gb backbone. I am using a Dell Powervault 132. Does the Veritas Remote agent compress the remote jobs better than local disk jobs compression? I can't figure out why the remote jobs are like twice as fast...- jbs45

The "search" feature within explorer bar.....
There has to be a way to remove the or disable the "view" drop down menu at the top of Interent Explorer. Or remove the "explorer bar" or "search" within it. Anyone have anymore ideas???? Thanks!- jbs45

That tweak must be for windows xp only, I am currently running Windows 2000 Pro. I have found way to disable the "help" and "file" menu from the top of the internet explorer window. But I can't find out how to remove the "view" menu or to disable the search...- jbs45
