Ok, I think I see what trollacious was trying to say before - put the HTML menu snippet in noscript tags. Duh...
It worked. At first I thought it wasn't working in Firefox/Mozilla and only IE, then I realized I hadn't saved it. =) *sigh*
Thanks for the help. Just a brain fart I guess. Rated...
Ok, I made a few quick 'n dirty example pages. (Much of the CSS formatting and such has been removed. Ignore the ugliness.) I have made the pages so you don't have to alter your javascript settings at all. (In the demos where Javascript is "disabled", I removed the javascript to show what it...
No I hadn't, but I will... Thanks. (It was my understanding that this disabled all scripts even with javascript enabled.)
(time passes...)
I tried it and it disabled it alright, but the menu script won't run even if javascript is enabled. If they have Javascript, obviously I'd like to utilize...
Hi Den,
The most likely reason I can think of from the limited information available is the fact that ZA isn't on the "outside" anymore. I'll try to explain.
When you were on dial-up, you were directly connected to the Internet without a router or other firewall in the way. Now, however...
I've always been amazed at the amount of helpful people here, so I decided to ask a question of my own! I searched for a solid 15 minutes (all the way back to 2003) and didn't find anything that answered this question. Some got close, but when I tried them myself, I couldn't get it to work in...
"I love you guys." *Said like Cartman from Southpark*
Both ways worked perfectly! Both will get a star for that... now I just gotta figure out which to use. =P Thanks so much for the help.
Pete, nice thoughts on the encoding. I was actually aware of the problems, however I didn't...
Hello again all! I found so many helpful people here last time I thought I'd throw this question up to you. It has me stumped more than I thought it would.
Here's the scoop. I have a mailto link that works perfectly fine. What I would like to do is have a javascript prompt with a short...
Updating your version is the best solution I can recommend from the information provided. As for having problems with 100% CPU while running WinMX or other P2P apps, it's usually due to the large amount of UDP traffic created by the searches and such that cause ZA to work harder. It's never been...
Once again I must agree and stress everything said by viol8ion! I run the same software suite (AVG and Spybot SD along with a LinkSys), and urge the use of alternate products (Mozilla line is a fine choice).
As for your firewall question, the answer is YES. A hardware firewall (if configured...
Again, excellent points viol8ion. There simply is no substitue for a hardware firewall. If you have access to an older machine you can use (even a 486 would work just fine, but a P75 or so is better) you can use a Linux firewall called SmoothWall. Little to no Linux knowledge is needed for...
Thanks again - I'll change it back since it looks like more "complete" code to do it with your original post. You've been a huge help. =D
~ GuidoZ
The body tag of onUnload will do that, but you'll have to add it to every page... I'm not aware of any other way to pop open a window with javascript when someone exits a page.

Ahhhh, I'm so happy right now. =)
They both work (2nd post for you usrbinperl), I think I'm going to use the method adam0101 posted up since it was my original intention. On the flip side, I learned something new (variables!) no matter how simple. So thx also to you usrbinperl for that. (After...
Thank you so much for the quick replies! I'll give them a test momentarily. Just some additional notes to answer the questions:
usrbinperl - The reason they are seperate forms (and need to be) is actually rather simple. The page lists a bunch of fabrics for a product. You pick a size under each...
I think you're problem is stemming from ICS... you say you've used the expert rules and such to allow traffic thru ZAP, but have you also forwarded them in ICS?
As for how to do that, I'd recommend checking Google: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=port+forwarding+in+ICS...
I'm not a big fan of McAfee anything - just IMHO. I've seen far to many compatibility troubles arise from McAfee being installed. Personally, I'm a big fan of ZA Pro. It does what it should, is easy for almost anyone to use, and it's well made.
ZA is hands down winner for that question, but...
Hello all! :) I've been plugging away at this for longer then I'd like to admit and seem to have hit a barrier. It's a simple problem really, that is, it SHOULD be. I'm down to a few options (after hours of Google searches and trial-and-error), however I know there has to be a better way. I'm...
