IDLSYS:
I've written a blog post regarding this problem. It is related to the Accpac COM components and .Net programs. There is a way to fix your problem without disabling DEP on the machine. See http://www.zcg.com/Blog/tabid/152/EntryId/6/DEP-NET-Windows-and-Accpac.aspx
Cheers,
Chris Zinck...
I suspect your problem is related to DEP (data execution protection). It is something we came across a year ago when we built a .Net app that called AccpacCOM API UI's.
I've documented the issue on my blog. Here is the post: http://czinck.blogspot.com/2009/12/dep-net-windows-and-accpac.html...
Actually, that is not quite true. Up to and including V5.4, Accpac used VS6. However, with V5.5, Accpac migrated to VS7.1 (2005). From the Accpac.mak file:
# This file is compatible with Microsoft (tm) Visual Studio (tm) 2005.
# If you need to continue using Visual Studio (tm) 6.0, then you...
Unfortunately, the only documentation I know of is the web service help file that comes with the System Manager.
Glad to hear you are making progress.

Actually, your issue is exactly what I would have expected without cookie support. It is what we struggled with the first time we used web services. Since the Accpac Session token is tied to the web service session, the first call to the opensession works, but the second call to the web service...
You may have already tried this, but here it is anyway:
The Accpac Web service is not a stateless service. Opening a session requires a web (IIS) session to be created and persisted across web service calls. Even though you'd think the session token would be enough, that is not the case. The...
Your problem is related to the environment where you are running your VB.Net code.
The error message is indicating that the syncronization component for CRM is trying to open up and sync your changes to the CRM database. For some environmental reason, the CRM sync component is unable to run.
I...
Hi,
I just upgraded to the 3.0.59 release of IPO and have some problems with IMS.
My environment is Win 2003 for the voicemail/IMS server, Exchange 2003 and Win XP SP2/Outlook 2003 on the workstations. IP Office box is a 403.
I had everything working great with IMS on the 2.1 release. Win XP...
We have re-recorded the message and so far it seems to be much better. Although, with the way it was so intermittant I won't be convinced until we've run it for a bunch of days.
I was strange because I upgraded the system to 2.1.10 VM and 2.1.24 early last week and we didn't really see the...
Update:
It turns out the message does not always loop forever once it starts looping. I've had it stop looping after 2 loops and once after 4 loops.
Since the attendant script in VM is set to allow selections while the message is playing AND it stops at exactly the same spot when it loops AND...
Hi,
Has anyone seen a circumstance where the auto attendant message will stop playing in the middle and then restart from the beginning? This problem happens intermittantly and once it loops for an incoming call it will continue looping in the same way until a selection is entered. And when it...
I've setup a test Win XP Client with SP2 RC2 on it. Before installing SP2, the IMS Client worked great on the workstation.
The IMS is 2.1 running with Outlook 2003.
After installing SP2, IMS refuses to login when Outlook is started. It just keeps popping up a network login dialog looing for...
We have an IPO 403 and we want to pool our fax line with the other voice lines. I understand the AVAYA Partner product could route incoming faxes based on the fax tone to the fax extension. Any idea if the IP Office product can do this?
Thanks in advance,
Chris Zinck
Hi,
I have and IPO 403 with one of the POTS ports attached to a modem. The trunk lines are analog lines. Before the IPO install, the modem would get >50K speed when connecting to a particular computer. Now, the modem never gets more than 29k and frequently needs to be redailed since it never...
Hi,
Does anyone know if IMS 1.4 will work with Exchange 2003? We have it setup on a IPO 403 and working well with Exchange 2000 but IT wants to upgrade to 2003 and there is no information on whether IMS supports it.
If not, will 2.0 support it?
Thanks in advance,
Chris Zinck
