Opening Word Documents that were templates

I managed to solve it by copying and pasting the document into a blank document and the template help went. I am guessing that Fumei was correct in that there must have been some code in the original template that was causing this. Heres a star and thanks for the pointers ;) Nzarth MCSA/MCSE...

Opening Word Documents that were templates

Sorry if I did not explain myself properly :( I have taken a template from Microsoft Site (it is an Invoice) and have saved it in the original format (i.e. .dot). Then I have amended the text and added picture so it relates to my company. Now when I create a new invoice using the template, I...

    Outlook and ActiveX error

One of my users downloaded some clipart and some 200 pieces of spyware over time :( When I removed all of the spyware, Outlook started to give an error everytime they created a new email (we use HTML in the template). The error is "Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX...

    Can this be done?

I mean the setup of the backup jobs. Setting up partitions was fairly automated and so is scheduling. Just was not sure of how Veritas dealt with Incrementals for 2 different jobs. Nzarth MCSA/MCSE (W2K), CCA Working on CCNA

    Can this be done?

Thanks SQLBill, yes I have set up partitions and this is the way I am using the backup jobs to use a specific partition. Just thought it would be a more automated way fo doing it than the manual way :( gmonahan, will give you a star when I get it to work. Nzarth MCSA/MCSE (W2K), CCA Working...

    Can this be done?

On a Friday I want to do a complete backup job on one tape (say SQL and Exchange backup). Then on Saturday I want to do another complete backup job (say File shares, etc). Then between Monday and Thursday, would like to do Incremental backups for both jobs on one tape (would have enough space...

Proper Method to Cite an MCP on resume

I just put a section with IT certifications as a header and then list my certs there. I do not think a full blown explanation is necessary on what each cert means as you could explain that in the interview. Nzarth MCSA/MCSE (W2K), CCA Working on CCNA

    is it true about testking?

Even if you do manage to cheat successfully - your current or future employers will know that you do not know your stuff. When I say you, I do not mean YOU ;) Nzarth MCSA/MCSE (W2K), CCA Working on CCNA

    70-216 or 70-218 ?

Agree, but with my experience I found that when I completed 70-210, 70-215, 70-216, 70-217 and then 70-218 the last exam was an absolute breeze. 70-216 was IMHO the hardest of all to obtain the MCSE, but after that it was all downhill. Good Luck Nzarth MCSA/MCSE (W2K), CCA Working on CCNA

    Highest Scores - Poll

Yes 1000 is really a max score. Also I think MS is moving away from giving specific scores out to maybe combat braindumpers. If you just get a pass mark then you do not know how well or badly you passed the exam. A pass is a pass ;) Nzarth MCSA/MCSE (W2K), CCA Working on CCNA

    Trust Domain (Exchange)

I am planning this scenario for our Network and was wondering if it would work. I look after 2 companies who share the same network, but have completely different identities. One company uses Terminal Server (abc.com) and the other is on a LAN (def.com). I know Exchange can host multiple...
