Thank you very much for your suggestions! Although, I'm not quite sure what you mean by: 'have your queries return LayerI'.
I understand how inheritance works, and that I should use a base class, and build off of it, but not sure what you meant by your comment?
Again, thank you Per, you've been...

Thank you very much for your response, maybe this information will help:
I did this from memory last night, the class 'voidNN' is actually 'NN' and 'voidL' is actually 'LAYER'.
I was going off of the filenames, because I thought I used the same naming conventions, sorry!
Here are the...
This is a little complicated but, I'm going to try and explain as best I can... [wink]
I have a program that I'm working on, it has several classes, one main class that controls everything called: 'voidNN' this class uses other classes inside of it called 'voidL', all of which are dynamically...
My apologies! I can use the manual connect dialog box when I'm still connected!
However, it doesn't work when I have manually connected to a server (TELNET). Either through the manual connect dialog box or the 'connectmanual' command in ASPECT.
After I've manually connected to any server, the...
Yes I am using the 'connectmanual' command to connect to the different servers. But that is a very well taken point, if you connect to a server, and set a global variable equal to the server you connected to, as I understand it, that variable would stay (unless changed of course!) until you exit...
That is pretty much what I was looking for, but many times I have to connect manually to different servers which are not in the connection directory.
And I don't have control over whether or not they are in the connection directory! (they're not my computers/this is being designed for a office)...
I am wondering if there is a way to tell what server, connection directory entry, etc. I am connected to...
I have several scripts that can be run at any time, but if Procomm is already connected to the correct server, it's pointless to reconnect again![tongue]
Any ideas? [idea]

I'm a little lost!... I tried hiding a form in Access (97) and now I can't get it to come back!
The form is set to be the startup form, so it comes up everytime I open the database, so I know that it is still there! But it does not show up in the database window, or any other for that...
Thanks Richard!
That was exactly what I wanted! I'm sorry for my incompitence! I should have figured that out! I had everything done, except I had the combobox bound instead of unbound!
I had the controls locked, forms did not allow for additions/deletions! AHHHH! Something so simple!
But...
I'm sorry guies, I've looked through quite a few posts here, and I just can't quite seem to get this to work, but I really need it to work by tomorrow! AHHHH!
Here goes:
I've got a list of products set-up in various tables, all linked through relationships so that everything can be referenced...
Well, I really don't know how to use PivotTables[blush], but I must point out, that I did not create this spreadsheet, my friend was the one who designed it, I was just given the task of modifying it! But I am willing to change it in anyway, if it is better, and does serve it's purpose!
I...
I have a worksheet that consists of 32 sheets, one for each day of the month and one for totals. Each of these sheets has 70 lines full of data, each line also has two checkboxes, these checkboxes are supposed to change the color of the line, according to which checkbox is selected.
What I'm...
Thank you for your responses! And thank you very much for your speed!

your idea seems a little more involved than I need to get right now, but it may come in handy in the next little while, so thank you very much!
Glenn-
thank you aswell, this was a little more what I was looking for, and...
I have a problem with an Excel spreadsheet that I'm working on.
It has 10 sheets: 'Master', 'D1', 'D2', 'D3',.... Each of the 'D' sheets is a data sheet, all in the same format, just different data.
The master sheet has a value at the top that I need to use to tell it which sheet to pull it...
I am just using the .wax file, and yes the script does #include files from the flash drive, but those should be taken care of when it is compiled, correct?
Ohh, but I just thought of something, I'll have to check when I get a chance, but I think I might have used a temporary file, without...
I retract my previous statement...
It's not when I use meta keys... I have the script files (yes multiple files) on a flash drive, it's when I have the write protect on the drive that it does not write the file, but I am not writing to the device, I'm writing to the C:! But when I remove the...
I've written a script, that is quite large, large enough that I don't want to post the entire thing here, but I will post parts if you need to see them. My problem is that when I execute the script from the Compile/Edit dialog box, it works fine, but if I map it to a Meta Key, it doesn't work...
