Hi,
Just need so assistance with configuring my Cisco ASA 5505 for remote user access and having it be able to authenticate to my Windows 2003 AD domain so that I have access to network apps.

Chris,
Did you type in: http://issues.cchwallstreet.com:10000 or
http://issues.cchwallstreet.com? What page came up? Can you send a screen shot to: njcam777@hotmail.com?
Thanks.
I need some assistance. I have a web page that we cannot see form the Internet, but, when we type in [http://webpage.com:10000] from the Internet, it says that the pae cannot be displayed. What do I need to do on my secondary DNS server to get this to work? Supposedly our main DNS was updated...
I have a Windows 2003 server, running IIS6, and I have a new web page that needs to be seen on the Internet. I can type in [http://websitename.com:10000] and see the web site in our Intranet. I had our Telcom Group add the IP address that we want the web page to bind to, but cannot see the...
I have a serious issue with the network that I inherited from the previous IT guys. It is a Win2K (SP4 & Hot fixes) domain, with two DC's, both are suppose to be GC's as well. They both have DNS (AD Integrated) running on them, though I have stopped the service on one for now, as well as the...
Hi:
I need assistance with a very serious active directory (2000) problem. I created a user, and when attempting to login in with that account, I get: "The system could not log you on."....
Let me digress and give you what I have on my network:
1 PDC Windows 2000(DC)(GC Server) - is the...
I have a problem that needs to be addressed ASAP, and would appreciate some assistance. I have a server that has SQL2000 installed on a drive that is running out of space. I have an additional drive with more then enough room. How can I get the databases moved to this other drive, still have...

Hi,
Here are the problems that I would appreciate some assistance with.
1. I have a third-party application that relies on SQL, and is listed in the service panel, but cannot be started with the "automatic" option because it needs to "see" that the SQL server/service has already started. The...
Thanks Vos, I will let you know how it goes. One last thing, the article says that I would need to delete the log files after the defrag, is there anyway that I could avoid this?? Isn't there switches when running the eseutil that would put the new, defraged DB in place of the original bloated...
Hi,
I have a problem, my priv.edb file is way too big, even after deleting/moving a lot of email from the server. IS maintenance has been setup, but I don't see the event log, does anyone know that ID number?? Is it 1221??
Also, I need to run the eseutil, but don't have emough space on the...
Okay, I need to get OWA up and running. The previous IT guys set it up to use https://, not http://. I can access the Exchange server fine from the inside, using the IP address, but cannot get to it by the https://exchange.com/exchange format. Is there DNS entries that need to be made?? What...
Hi, I have a SQL 2000 server that sits in a WORKGROUP, off our domain, but needs to be backup. I have the remote agent for Veritas on the server, however, when I go and attempt to backup the databases (the local C,D drives are ok), it tells me access denied.
1 - How can this be resolved?
2 -...
We have, and they are set to 100. None of the ports that I looked at were set to either 10/100, or autosensing, and they were all at Full-Duplex. I will check the uplink between the various switches, but believe that it is correct.
Anything else that someone, or yourelf can suggest to check??
~C
I know that the switches are NOT cisco, but any help would be appreciated! :)
I have a client that is having issues with latency on the network. When copying files from one server to a users desktop, the process could take up to 12-20 minutes, depending on the file size, to copy. He is...
I have a client that is having issues with latency on the network. When copying files from one server to a users desktop, the process could take up to 12-20 minutes, depending on the file size, to copy. He is running Windows 2000 on the desktop, Windows w/ AD, a single domain, integrated DNS...
mjbosko,
(Yes, I do mean the Win2k CD)
Looking at the reply from supatech, does this work for you?? Do you have a backup(full), of the server??
If it is missing, you might be able to get a new copy from Microsoft if you have proof that it was purchased by your company...
mjbosko:
Yup, the server name is going to be the biggest problem, but not one that can't be solved. One more question, do you have any PC/Server type box that can have Win2K installed on it temporarly??
Let me look into some things and get back to you.
mjbosko,
Question:
1- Are you running AD on this domain??
2- Do the applications you mentioned have configuration files that point it to that server(name)??
3- If you re-install the application(s), can you point it to the new server that you build?? This would facilitate a smoother transition...
