Assuming your using SL1Enhanced interface to the centigram versus SMDI, I would bet your centigram is programmed for the wrong access code to turn off the Message Wait key. Since you are turning on the lamps you must have connectivity because the same integration set turns it off.
Thanks John,
Building a new hospital complex. Wanting to network to the Coral with an Octel behind with CS1000 at new location. Both systems to have separate incoming PRI from PSTN. After completion in two to five years, wanting to move over to the CS1000 in phases. With Qsig and PRI I am...
Benny,
The 1100 series aren't supported until BCM 4.0 or BCM 50 2.0. They do work if you build them as an i2002 but the current releases won't have a template for 11XXs.
Make sure you have the correct power supply. The 1100s take the same power supply as the 2007.
Hope that helps
If you want peer to peer trunking you will need a signalling server somewhere in your network as a gatekeeper to route the calls between multiple sites. If you are just going between two sites you may use the VMGC as an ITG trunk card which will be the same as a tie trunk between two sites.
One thing to remember, equipment that answers on ring may not answer the new ring pattern you select, so depending on what you choose you may get complains about modems and other devices not answering.
It's my experience that this is normal. You can't conference or transfer a call the first few seconds after the call is set up. On digital phones the transfer key/ conf key won't respond until this timer has expired. Since your probably using the SPRE code with an analog port you are getting...
Nortel Distributors can download the Option 11 Software. You must have a Nortel password to access. You will need a 48m PCMCIA card. Once the generic software is on the machine, you must enter the key codes which are encrypted to match the system ID number and the feature set purchased...
Another alternative would be to use a page access device like a Valcom V9940 to interface between an analog station and the paging system. It answers ring current and makes the connection to the paging system. It has dip switches that allows you to make the unit time out after 30,60 or 90...
Strange but true. We have had numerous complaints on new installs only. All of them come back to the jumper being set wrong at the factory. The one I was chasing only had the tone on calls from Cingular and Verizon wireless calls. All other calls were fine.
