I've seen this before (think it was on another model)but couldn't reset it. not all bad news as the printer should keep on printing when the time runs out if my memory serves me right. The smalll plastic box on the front of the maintenance drawer is the culprit its a timer.

Yes the preheater is accessable from the fromt and it is located top front of the drum. you will need to remove both sides, the silver panel in the front then the roller unit behind that. the preheater will now be visible.
