Many thanks tunsarod.
If it works in Access97, it shouldn't have a problem with AcsessXP. I'm sure I must be missing something 'obvious'. What you say is what I have - but I don't pick up the EVENTS records from the LINK sub-form.
Maybe seeing a working example will produce the...
In October several of the experts helped Richard178 with exactly the same problem which I had then & still have.
Since that time I’ve tried every combination of Forms & Sub-forms that I can devise and still cannot populate a sub-form from the Link Table. Please, if you can help, lead me very...
When I create a Query using the Design View option in the New Query dialogue box, I get the whole table - not just the fields I have selected.
The wizard works fine & provides a workaround - but I'd appreciate knowing what I've done to my Access
(XP - 10.5815.4219 SP-2)!
Example:

Neil,
Many thanks, I'd guessed there might be a way using VB, but my knowledge can be put on a pin head & still leave room for the bible!
And thanks for that MS reference - I'd searched the KB but obviously didn't use the right keywords.
Now let's try it!!
OK - I know I'm in the wrong place, but I thought that some Access guru might be able to suggest a solution to a WORD issue.

Just back from a few days away...
Thanks Duane/Richard - I had become fixated on using a single set of data as the Fees Table - and Approach (eons ago) had provided a way of doing it. It's obvious (when you're told!) that a Many to Many relationship is the solution.
Many thanks for your...
Many thanks Duane, that was quick!
So far everything I've done has refused to accept Y/N as numeric, I'll let you know how it works.
Are you any good with Relationships? I've got a query on that Forum about creating & picking up static data which nobody seems to want to respond to. Maybe I'm...
Can I join in on your side of this query Byrne1?
I want to use Yes/No to return 1/0 for a calculation (Value = Value*[Yes/No]) but I can't seem to find out how. From your response, dhookom, it sounds like it's very easy & I'm being very dim.
Thanks in advance for showing me just how dim witted...
I'm trying to cobble together a replacement database for a private school and need to establish a list of fees - Tuition, Piano(!) etc., which will change each year. They need to be picked up by a Pupils' Form (maybe using Check Boxes to identify which fees are relevant to that pupil) in order...
It's possible that the MSI it is looking for is buried in the hierachy of the CD. Some (for example) first split the CD by language before storing the MSI files.
Try opening the CD in Explorer and looking for *.MSI (include all directories). That should find one for each application as well as...
