Comments not working in the reader
Yeah -- that's true -- reader 6 did not have those icons but reader 5 does. Maybe the Adobe guys got the thing reversed. I checked the plug-ins in reader 5 and the comments plug-in is active. Still a mystery????- gatzbar

Check the help file in reader 6 page 43. I think it's the same for ver-5. It's says you can add note comments.- gatzbar

Well - I thought the way it worked was that I would create the doc in the writer and enable comments. Then I would sent it out and the next person could add their comments using the reader. Then I could incorporate the comments in the final version of the doc. Maybe the deal is that you can't...- gatzbar

Comments not working in the reader
I want to send PDF's around to co-workers for review comments. The PDF's are created using the distiller out of Word 2000. When I open them in the reader (Ver 5) to check them the notes icons are grayed out and comments are not available. They look OK in Acrobat (also ver 5) but since...- gatzbar
