The phone system allocates PRI 1 and 2 alternately, but once is gets to 22 connected calls any other inbound or outbound call either displays Disconnect on outbound or busy signal on inbound

The 2 4000 switches physically adjacent, there is a 3rd switch to be installed which will be about 100m away.

Other thing to consider is the number and types of apps you are supporting...home grown junk is normally tougher to support then standard microsoft apps. Are you also responsable for web site, exchange servers...etc.

Winoto, are you suggesting to install xp pro or server and use the XP tools for Group policies?
I think the install for the XP console is gpmc.mci (sound right?)
Does anyone have the entire listing of all the group policies for win2k? Viewing them in mmc is a bit of a pain, and difficult to document the changes I have implemented.

Just as follow-up I'm using LTO drives over 100MB ethernet all servers are running on the same planer card. It's using a 32bit PCI scsi card only connected to the 128T tape library.

I have arcserve 2000 (sp4) attached to a win2k sp4 server (2.4 GHz). Backuping up locally I get 150 - 170MB per minute, backingup servers over my 100Mb Ethernet network I get 95 - 110MB per minute. (which means it takes about 17hours to backup 180GB of (compressed)data.

If I delete the job that's having the problem, it then lists the job as corrupted and I still can't remove it. I tried the patch also, but I still have the same problem.

Have you looked at your network drivers?....I found when I installed W2k SP4 my drivers were downgraded to the windows default drivers. After upgrading them my backup speed went back to 100MB/min
