    Thanx Marcs41 and AP81, I don't know what I did or how I did it, but I did it. That unused space is now called drive E:, I can open it and also store data files.... Again thanks your all your time and effort, in trying to help me out....

    I should of memtion that my win98 program is a recovery & diagnostic disk. My win200o will not started up from dos so it must be an updated program only. I try to remove the partition after I formated my hard drive, but since it has been converted to an ntfs drive, and the rest of my free space...
