Running HELP in EXCEL under VB editor
Did you specifically install the VBA help files? I know it wasn't in the module list where I assumed it was so I missed installing it. You need to install the VB Help files which are located under Office Shared Features in the VBA folder, not inside the Microsoft Excel for Windows folder.- graym

Do you have Norton Antivirus installed on the slow computer? Microsoft has this listed as a known problem. See support.microsoft.com and search for knowledge base article 262530 .- graym

importing excel spreadsheets into access : Error
Did you do a full install of Access with everything set to run from computer (not run on first use)? The Access wizards are co-dependent. If you try to run one for the first time which depends on another wizard which hasn't yet been run, it will crap out. Try re-installing Access 2002 with...- graym
