My APC Symmetra lx has a battery fault that is causing a audible alarm that is quite annoying. The replacement battery has been ordered but I was wondering if anyone knew how to silence the alarm. I've search all the menu options on the front of the panel and couldn't find a thing. Any help...
Thanks 58sniper for the post. I've downloaded the GAL through Outlook several times wit the same result. The GAL is updating but the Address List are not visible. None of the clients are in cached mode. Really not sure what to do here. I checked the AD permissions on the DC using ADSIEDIT tool...
We have exchange 2007 and users use outlook 2003. We're facing a problem that we can not see any address lists other than the GAL in Outlook. We just see our GAL and no other list. No All Rooms, All Users, All Contacts, or All Rooms. But when we acces our webmail OWA we can see the other lists...
Just finished working the case with TAC. Turned out that on the T1 controller we needed to set the speed on the channel group in order to bring up the line protocol. Once we added "channel-group 1 timeslots 1-24 speed 64" the T1 came up just fine. Thanks everyone for reply to this post.
Thanks everyone. I have a maintenace window setup for tomorrow evening with Cisco to once again try and get this card to work. I'll let you all know what the outcome is.
jeter, we ran loopback test on the vwic cards no errors. When the old T1 CSU/DSU card is installed back in the 2621 the line comes up fine and is clean and traffic flows. No loops anywhere.
Don't have an available config to post. I had to roll back to get the site back online. Here's how the routers are configured.

Hey Experts,
I’ve installed a new T1 VWIC2 card in a Cisco 2621 to replace an existing T1 CSU/DSU card. The card is recognized by the router and the T1 controllers and serial interfaces are configured correctly. When the old T1 CSU/DSU card is installed the P2P T1 line comes up just fine and...
Yes. You see my dilemma. Which log setting would need to be set? I’ve already changed this one Set-EventLogLevel "MSExchangeIS\9000 Private\Logons" -Level Expert.” Didn’t give me what I was looking for. Any recommendations?
We have had some leaks about company information. We feel that either a helpdesk tech or another admin might be granting themselves permissions to some c-level mailboxes and reading emails.
I too would also like to block the caller id on some outbound calls. I tried setting up the route pattern *67 but keep getting busy signals, call cannot be completed as dialed, or in one case transfered over to Unity errors. Can someone who has gotten this to wok please be a little more detailed...
Hey jeter, did replace the phone. That's why I'm so stummped. Can't seem to figure this one out. As a last ditch try I increased the keepalive on the switchport. Maybe this will help.
Here's a strange one. I have a single Cisco 7940 that unregisters daily. The phone is configured exactly the same as all of the other phones in the environment. I have changed the phone itself, all of the cables, the port on the wall, as well as the port on the 4510 switch and still the phone...
You can also go to the CDR/Search/By User Extension. Enter 911 as the extension and select the date/time range. This will only return all calls palced to 911. No so much data to sift through.
