    how much do you think it would cost to have a store do that for me? Would it hurt my 800FSB CPU if I put it in and the MB was running at 533? last question... Can I Update the BIOS without a processor?

    hey did you try sony's website? http://ciscdb.sel.sony.com/cgi-bin/select-p-n.pl (I'm not sure if this forum site accepts code... so ignore one of them if it shows up wierd) Maybe you might need to perform surgery and find out the serial numbers on the audio chipset.

    I agree with paparazi, it sounds like a heat issue. It might be a memory problem... how long have you had the computer?

    FSB on the 875P

    Does anyone know if I can run my 2.8Ghz 800FSB, on the Intel 875P chipset if the board is running @ 533FSB. Because Intel reports that you need a BIOS update to run at 800FSB on their board, BUT how would I run the update if I can't boot the computer? Any advice or comment is welcomed.
