Sorry - I think I maybe confused you.
What I'm looking to do is allow a remote user (outside of the corporate network), from a broadband connection via a VPN access his or her phone extension using the i2050 SoftPhone for purposes of call control, but, instead of using a headset connected to...
Hi Everyone,
Is there a way to redirect the voice path of the i2050 SoftPhone to a TDM device? I know that it supports the use of an ATA, but I was looking to do this more upstream? Perhaps allow a user to use the i2050 for call control, but the actual voice path would be passed via a POTS (or...
Thank you John - are you aware of any adverse effects of not upgrading or applying the patch? You explained it relates to the capabilities of the processor, so I'm assuming it's just how it handles interrupts?
Thank's John - it's an Option 11, so it can't be side specific, no new cards have been added in over two years, so I'm not sure about the device numbers (I'm not sure that these are assignable on an Option 11?)...
It seems that every once in a while, during off hours, I'll come across the following two messages:
BUG6363 TOD: Hardware interrupt register is not cleared.
1 attempt[s] to clear it.
BUG6364 TOD: Hardware interrupt register is cleared after 1 attempt[s].
I cannot correlate any...
Do you have any information on the specification? I'm guessing you need to have an ative support contract for the application gateway option? Are you willing to share? Or do you have obligations?
Thank you!
Of course - just the sets expected. Though 3/4 Meridian Mail agents had the feature enable. I'm guessing this was set when the system was installed, though I don't believe it's part of the installation procedure. I don't believe this is a problem, as it cannot be set to foward.
Thank you - that was the most prevalant change I'd seen from my research, but was still a little iffy (I hate making system wide changes).
I can't seem to find any concerns in changing this, but was curious as to if there are any? I don't see any, but thought it may be a good idea to ask.
I'd like to allow the front desk (using a 2616, not a console) to forward calls, when not at the desk, to an offsite number. Easy enough? Well, here's the catch:
Our main number terminates to an auto-attendant through Meridian Mail 12, callers into this have the option to dial 0 to reach the...
Here is what I have in regard to the Application Gateway/Database Option:
ICM Scripting and Media Routing Guide (Version 7) - Pages 57 - 62.
Cisco ICM Enterprise Edition Pre-Installation Planning Guide (Version 6) - Chapter 2, Pages 14-15.
Not very detailed, but it's all I've come across in...
I haven't found very detailed documentation, but tomorrow I'll see what I have a cite the relevant documents that make mention of it.
What are you looking to do with the data?
Really depends on what Bluetooth adapter you are using and what Bluetooth device you are connecting it to. I have a Belkin which supports "Network Access" if your's supports that service, you can enable it, and then depending on your Operating System, setup ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) or...
I'm not sure what Cisco products you are using, but a good portion of them are capable of this. Look into the Cisco AS Series (Access Server). If you're desperate, you can most likely find used Lanrovers on eBay. I'm sure there are some other products, these are the two that I can think of off...
Do you have any space to work with? I'm thinking something wall mounted to secure the existing patch panel, as well as a second patch panel - patch everything one to one, and you've extended your runs. Now, this isn't the cleanest thing, but there are much worse options.
There are third party products which will take the VGA signal from the PC and convert it to Composite Video (http://www.aver.com/products/comptv.shtml) - I'd recommend using a PC monitor, however, and displaying video from the PC and other sources - the quality of the PC display would be better...
