We run ISA 2000 in a Windows 2003 server domain. A few of my XP user keep getting a window that asks for authentication after they have already logged in the domain. The users still have access to internet, network etc... All they have to do is hit cancel. Nothing else seems to be different...
Go to Active Directory users and Computers> User properties> Email Addresses tab> and add SMTP addrerss with external email adderss and set it to primary.
That is how I did it. Hope that helps.

I have a PC here that when IE is opened, SYMPROXYSVC.EXE process jumps to 99% and the webpages load VERY slowly. Have run Norton virus scan, AD Aware, Spybot, etc. It appears to be clean and all other programs work fine. Any input is appreciated.

I am trying to get OWA running with no luck! It looks like in IIS "Default Web Site" I accidentally deleted the path to the Exchange Virtual Server. Could someone tell me what the Path should be, and could this be the root of my problem, or would this not have anyhting to do with it...
Sounds like a DNS issue. If DNS is not configured properly you can get the type of delay that you describe. Do a search in the XP forum and look for posts from bcastner...he does an excellent job of explaining! I had this exact same problem, until I got my DNS straight.

I just did this yesterday to our 2000 server and did not get that message, so I am not sure if it will mess anything up on your system. But deleting the root "." will give you access to the forwarder tab. I had to close DNS and reopen it before it would work. I then put my ISP's DNS...
Can anyone tell me why my exchange servers priv.edb file has not changed in size? I have had users deleting tons of old mail for the past 2 days, and it has not budged? After a user deletes mail, their mailbox decreases in size but it does not change anything else. I am new to exchange stuff...
