    Hi, In my opinion, just to initialise astpsdat database. This is the biggest one and it doesn't lose any information about rotation backups (these last is found on the asmedia and asobject database) Thus, the utilities to maintain database take no more time. Herve

    Hi, You have to make a merge operation on the specify media BEFORE to do the restore. Maybe the database was previously initialized and arcserve couldn't find informations to process its restore. Herve

    Backup cause network disconnection

    Hello, do you perform your backup with a very hight speed bandwith ? I encountered this sort of problem with a 1 Gb/s network card. When I change it to a 100 Mb/s network card, the problem is disappeared... I don't sure, but maybe you have to see on this direction ?!? Regards Hervé
