    Btrieve and Windows 2003

Hi! Trying to see if I can do this! Old Novell server with an old accounting program based on Btrieve. New Windows 2003 (actually SBS) server and XP workstations. Can Btrieve and the accounting program (Dos) be copied to the new server and work? Gabe

Message "write protected" when it is not!

Hi! As I have said, there is no tape log as the error comes up right away. If you are referring to the log from the time the tape was created, it is not available as the old database was erased by the people that installed the new hardware and updated the software! Thanks!

Message "write protected" when it is not!

    CA BrightStor 9

Hi and thanks! I am trying to find out but, meanwhile, I am only trying to read. Some tapes are regular backups others are archives of old files and it would take too much time to recover. If the tapes can be read, can they be "re-cataloged" (if there is such a thing!) and be...

    CA BrightStor 9

A Quantum DLT magazine was replaced with a Quantum DLT1 single drive and ArcServe 6.61 was upgraded to BrightStor 9. How can the old tapes be read and cataloged and can the database information be restored from an old full backup tape and used with the new version of software so we dont have to...
