    I believe that the XDT login uses a different profile. Check in /etc/skel for a .profile.

    Yes, Openserver yacked on and on about this type of thing. Not necessary to fix the sym links, its just a notification. Handy if you don't know WHY a link isnt working anymore, you can find it here. Unixware 7 does not do this. TG!

    Sco VisionFS 3.1 - Locking Problem

    Sounds like you may have configured the VFS server for something other than Unix file locking. Check into this as it could cause some corruption. Also, you could add a line to your backup script when its done to restart VFS when the backup is done.
