technical difference between network shortcut and mapped drive
Some of the progrmas like games etc needs a CD to run. if u will install those progrmas from network . next time when that progrma sruns ask u for cd than shorhcut will not work so mapping a drive is good practice Ch Abdulla Fayyaz chattha- afchattha

firewall and spam
Hi yes exchange server can work with linux firewall. 2ndly if u can stop spams with send mail biltin features . firewall just fillter ip packets . and block data with spooed ip headers,trojon attacks etc U can use microsoft ISA server as a firewall for your private network where mail server...- afchattha

W2K DNS to point to second IIS
