I have installed a SIP CC 7.0 on a live customer site. The installation is improved and the SIP part of the software seems to work o.k. We still have some issues with the robusteness of CCAD in combination with 2050 softphones. This call center is transfering a lot and this causes some problems...
TEN is used to seperate phones to use different Tenants.
In the Tenant you can group routes and attendents...etc to be used within this tenant. This can be usefull when there are seperate small company's using the same PABX.
The TGAR is used to block phones from using specific routes. If a...
First why do you want enduser to login to TM?
They have nothing to look for there.
If You mean that user need to be able to use the numbers in the active directory to call to I think you need to setup corperate directory for the phones.

You can edit the vendorlist in de vxshell with command: spRegVendorAdd "vendor_name".
As far as I know there is also a patch for this. The patch number is already somewhere on this forum.
But I think you need to check the servicedomain name the endpoint is trying to regiter to.
Maybe set the...
Keep with the IP recording, that's simple to implement and easy to use. But if you have several TDM recorders in the network it's more difficult to implement and to maintain.
Hello,
I know why the Linksys isn't reachable from the CS1000E.
The phone-context witch is expected by the Linksys spa962 is different from the phone-context send by the CS1000.
So, does anyone know how to manipulate the phone-context on the SPA 962?
Jacco.
What I did was configure a DSC to the SIP trunk.
When I dial from an i.e. 1120E set to the SIP number I get the DCH message: Destination is out of service.
Onething else.. I registered an other set (ipDialog Siptone) and this set was working perfectly!
So, what I think is the issue here is a...
I know that Nortel says that it's not supported. But on all other sets i tested I got oneway speech. And I was only able to dial to the set and not dial out.
So, at the Linksys set I can dial out and I have a 2way speechpath. I think it's a small step to get the inbound up and running.

Hello all,
I have registered a Linksys SPA 962 phone to the NRS and can dial from the Linksys to the CS1000E.
But I can't dial from the CS1000E to the Linksys phone.
Any body any idea?

I have the password but I'd like to make sure all the phones have the password enabled and i'd like to do this by sending a string from the DHCP server.
At this point I get an error during the startup of the phone witch indicate that the phone can't read the string from the DHCP server.
So...
O.K. again I've tested somethings on the DHCP server.
I changed the Vendor specific option from:
Nortel-i2004-A,x.x.x.x:4100,1,5.
to:
Nortel-i2004-A,x.x.x.x:4100,1,5;0.0.0.0:0,0,0,SECUREMENU.
When I restart my phone to get this new string from the DHCP server I got 'DHCP parse error' in the...
I'm not 100% sure but I think you should program an AC2 in de ESN data block(LD 86) and set DLTN to NO.
One thing I know for sure and that's that I got 2 different dial tones.
GRTZ, Jacco.
