Surplus,
I see your point about the AUX port contacts, a loop on the analog port would not help at all(DUH!). At the end of this month I will try the original solution on a new Prologic I have going in, I'll keep you posted on this thread.
Thanks for your thoughts,
Mike
Surplus,
Do you get the impression from my discription above that this solution uses the closure contacts of the AUX port to trigger the HOTLINE feature of the analog stations?
Mike
How does this look?
"one code paging" (loudspeaker & Group page)
AUX PACK== Assign TAC code for each loudspeaker paging group you have and assign PAGE ALL TAC as # you want to dial...
ANALOG PACK== xwire each aux port to a real station port. Translate set as 2500, with Hotline access to a...
NTOldTimer,
The Telident product would be an over-kill for our application.
We have a "NORTEL" supported 7/24 facility with guarded "remote" access. I wanted to use the feature "crisis alert" that we deploy in other facilities having the AVAYA platform to notify the guards who called 911 and...
Does the Meridian 1 option 81c have a "crisis alert" feature like the AVAYA G3 systems use. On the AVAYA if anyone dials 911 from within the system, programmed buttons on specific phones start to ring and show who called 911.
Thanks in advance,
Mike
How do I find out what release Communication Manager I have? I don't have a call center, I just wanted to use the Meet-Me feature which is part of our package. 12 people would be sweet !!
I'm running G3si V11 on 4 different switches in three states with DCS..
Looks like the masters are stumped with this question,
this can't be happening!!!!
You mean no one has ever run in to this, or had a customer request it?
dmoore,
I have (1)TN750 with only 6 announcements on it that I set up for my first Meet-Me Conf. VDN. I have a feeling that once they know the Meet-Me Conf. is available every dept head will want one. It would'nt surprise me if I end up with 20 to 25 Meet-Me VDN. That prompted the questions...
I have two seperate loudspeaker paging zones and two seperate "group Paging "list. I want to dial one of the over head zones and have it come out of the sets as well. Does that help explain what I'm looking for?
Thanks
(Prologic G3si V11...6408 sets)
What do I need to do in software to dial one access code for a zone overhead paging and at the same time will come out of the 6408 sets in "group paging" list?
Thanks,
Merlinman,
Cost is not the issue and I do only need a few per location. I did pick up from this thread that the Magix has a limit per carrier if you use the 4424LD sets?? Do you know how many?
