    There must be the problem of IRQ clashing. you have to check first the free IRQ, then check for the PCI slot irq sharing in Mainboard Manual IF the slot u r using is sharing IRQ with othe Slot . then check for the independant IRQ using slot for ur NIC Try it and confirm.
