Hi there:
Try to use recovery CD to reinstall your laptop.
I guess that will solve your problem completely. If it still have the same problem, then you will know there is some wrong the your hardware.
Good luck,

Hi there,
I had another opinion. To be an end-user, I like my computer more stable but fast. I use my desktop to surf on the internet and some word document. I think Celeron meets my essential needs. However, AMD had well-known overheated problem.
A friend of mine gave me " HP Visualize B108L workstation".
I like to install Linux. But I don't know how to change the boot sequence. So that I can install Linux.
Any suggestion will be appreciated.
Thanks.
Mine is D-Link DI-614+. I bought last November. I also bought DWL-650+ for my Compaq laptop. It worked fine.
However, I found something strange. When I use 22Mbps for few hours, my laptop might freeze sometime. Therefore, I degrade to 11Mbps, and it never happen again.
Here is my suggestion...
If you don't want to spend extra money on it, try to return and change another brand such as Sea**t or Ma**r.
Or you really like to upgrade your HD, you could install a "IDE control card". It's about $50~100.
I believe once you install IDE control card that will solve all your problem.
