Hello,
I made an asp page to insert a record to a SQL DB. The server behavior "insert record" has an option "After inserting, Go To:"
I entered another asp page and clicked on the "Parameters" button. I entered the parameter's name and a value of the recordset.
This other page uses the URL...
Hello,
Does anyone know how you can change the node name (compter name) of a Brother HL - 1470N printer?
I looked in all options of the webinterface but i can't find a way.
Thanx
Sorry i explained it wrong i guess.
When i use Active/Passive only 1 node(server) gets all the workload. On Active/Active both nodes get a part of the workload. Or am i wrong on that?
I want to setup an active/active cluster configured as a printserver:
Specs:
--------
1 cluster (PrintserverMain)
2 nodes (PS1 & PS2)
All users print to \\PrintserverMain\[printername]
printjobs for printers 1 tot 100 should be handeled by PS1 and printjobs for printers 101 to 200 by PS2...
I managed to add printer ports to my print server via a script.
I tried it by adding them trough the registry and adding them using WMI.
With both methods I experience the same problem. The ports aren't recognized unless you restart the print spooler!
When i create a port using the wizard...
Sorry for the mistake... i meant a separate quorum disk...

Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the propper forum to post my question but i don't find another which is better.
I send a series of ftp commands via a script to a printer.
In the script i do the following:
var Shell = new ActiveXObject("wscript.shell");
Shell.Run ("ftp -i -g -s:set.txt " +...
I found the answer myself!!
var Shell = new ActiveXObject("wscript.shell");
Shell.Run("notepad.exe");
that's the trick i was looking for!!
I'VE FOUND THE SOLLUTION!!!
the problem was a setting in Internet Explorer!!!
I went to 'Internet Options' setup, 'Security'
tab,select 'Custom Level' , Enabled 'Initialize and script ActiveX controls not
marked as safe'.

So you can "dish out some code" ;-)
Thanx in advance,
Mark
