    Deleted all macros and forms from workbook. still incredibly slow (also on closing). calculation is set to manual. references are in cells which must be updated, but I never get to this point. do you know if there may be hidden objects?

    I have a spreadsheet with macros (1,5 MB) which opens fast on my computer but takes minutes to be opened on other computers.
