When you switch the router on, does the internet light flash at all? Presuming your username and password is correct, I'd put in the dns numbers by hand too. Set your timeout to zero, and your mtu to 1458 vc based. I'd check with your provider first and go over the setup with them.

I have solved the problem by typing in the DNS numbers for my IPS in the setup page. Don't know why this should help, but it has.

I'm having the same problem with my 814 since attempting to upgrade the OS. Didn't work, finally managed a roll back, but now I get around 20 mins connectivity before the thing looses it :( Timeout set to "0"
