Actually its C# thats the star of .Net. The entire .Net Framework was built for C#, and C# for the Framework. If you're a beginner with C++, I suggest you go to your local bookstores programming section and just sit there and read some books on C++, MFC, .NET, etc. The Win32 API and/or MFC can't be picked up without some work. Any corrective measures you can take are dependent upon how TurboCad operates. Beyond getting in touch with the makers of TC, the best thing I can suggest is to uninstall TurboCad, delete all the associated program files and/or directories left over, optionally (and probably unnecessarily)...- ultrasaiyan

Passing objects as arguments
You still cut out some of the code. What is the sdf1 object in main? How are the two objects used in the function? My understanding is that the question was about the usage of objects as parameters. Can't help unless we can see what you're doing with them. JasonD- ultrasaiyan
