The problem I'm having is outside calls taking about 6 rings before going to voicemail. The cover delay has been changed to 1 but I still get same number of rings. Any suggestions???
Something else I just found is in Winspm system inventory it shows as "no fw". I assume that's firmware. Also, in maintenance status the mode shows nothing and R is on.
We recently had repaired a 024tdl board and it has been installed for about 10 days. Curiosly, somehow all of the 4412d phone on our this 024tdl been assigned the adjuncts number instead of what was previously programmed. Is this an indication that this board is bad or how do I get out of this?
Thanks TouchToneTommy. I would alos like to know if we have to buy a "new" control unit or if we could buy the pcmcia card that will upgrade to r3.0. Our current card has a CKE5 proc in it.
Not so much the 2,0 but haveing to dial my extension number when I'm at my desk. We had Bellsouth Essx for a while and all we did was dial the messaging systems and enter our passwords.
Thanks for the info.
We would like to upgrade our Magix system. We are looking for this option if is available and that is keeping a caller id history and getting away from the convoluted way to retrieve messages. We are currently running magix release 1 ver6.0 in hybrid/pbx mode and the messaging system is 1.1...
We are trying to cut cost for the 4 BRI(s) we have. They cost over $400 a month. We were hoping that we could somehow steal a channel(s) and connect to our Cisco routers for ISDN backup.
Second question - What is the maximum number of phones can I do this to? We have 6 or 7 sets that are in our computer room and in the NOC area that will need 4 numbers appearing on the sets - 8611,8613,8614 and 8622.
Is there a way to have a second line appear on a 4412d+ phone? It already has extension 8665 and I need for extension 8658 to ring at this phone. It will need to have access to outside lines as well.
