I am still at a loss. I deleted the 'frmcache.dat ' file and I still have the same error. I also made Ms Word edit the emails to see if that will clear the text formatting error but that didn't work either. Does anyone have any suggestions before I re-image this machine?
Unfortunately, I removed I.E. then reinstalled I.E. completed the updates and I still get the same error:
Can't open this item. The text formatting command is not available. It may not be installed correctly. Please reinstall Outlook. Out of memory or resources. Please close all windows...
It could be when the user is in the middle of composing an email or opening a new one so I am unsure if it is stictly when I open HTML messages. Either way it doesn't hurt to try I will repair I.E. 6.0 and then let you know.
Thanks for your response.

If you can't view the Domain make sure your Network adapter is working. Also, check to see if you can create a differnt user on that workstation. Maybe it is that user.

eislander,
Are you receiving latency issues when cruizing the net? How much Disk Space do you have left?
I make sure that it is not just Internet traffic and I would then install another browser to see if you have the same issues (ie Internet Explorer).
Good Luck!
Cathy
Ian,
I unistalled SP4, I Deleted all the printer Drivers, I re-installed Sp4, and guess what. I still get the same error once I reboot the system.
Well, I am going to keep plugging away to find the answer to this one. If anyone has any suggestions please post them.
Thanks
Cathy

Jebby,
When you downloaded SP4, Did you go on Windows Updates to download it or Did you download it from the support website? If you downloaded from the support website, What feature did you select (Express or Network)?
I just want to figure out if we downloaded it the same way.
Thanks
I understand what you meant now. The spool files that I mention prior were NTClient Install Archived files. When I look in System32 for spoolss.dll the file size 80kb and it the version is 5.0.2195.6704. As for they way I downloaded it I went to the Windows Update website and Clicked Scan for...
